Sustainability

We want children to grow up with a sustainable mindset and an understanding of how to look after our planet.

Sustainability

Sustainability is a key agenda across the Stephen Perse Foundation. We believe that we have a shared responsibility with parents to choose sustainable practices and empower our children to do the same.

We have applied sustainable principles to food choices, daily routines and nappy changing. We use local suppliers wherever possible in our healthy eating menus, we use reusable nappies and biodegradable wipes, and we’ve switched to bamboo tableware.

We discuss sustainability in positive and empowering ways with the children. We talk about the positive impact our actions can have on the world we live in. Our Forest School programme immerses children in nature on a regular basis, encouraging them to create a strong and long term connection with the natural world.

Ultimately, we want to work with you as parents to set the foundations for an environmentally responsible adulthood. Today’s little learners will become tomorrow’s leaders, so let’s equip them with the knowledge and confidence they need to make sustainable choices.
