Reception class really enjoyed their trip to Saffron Walden library. It was a glorious day and the children thoroughly enjoyed their stroll through the common, chatting all the way. The librarian was very good at delivering a session tailored to the children’s current learning topic ‘Once upon a time’, the children participated in three sessions; making a storyboard, exploring books and enjoying listening to two alternatives to modern fairytales.
