Parent Zone

Every day is a voyage of discovery at the Stephen Perse Nurseries, with new things to experience, to discover, to learn and to enjoy. We work closely with you as parents to ensure that all these special moments are captured and shared.

We use a secure online learning journey called Tapestry to help us build a record of your child’s journey at nursery. We welcome your contributions to this so together we can capture your child’s whole story, helping staff and families celebrate every new experience and record their overall learning and development.

Tapestry

Tapestry is a secure online platform that helps us build a full picture of our children’s learning journeys. We can upload photos, videos and notes capturing your child’s experiences at nursery, and you can share their special moments from home with us too. So together, we’re building a full picture of their learning and development.

We’d also encourage you to look through pictures and clips together with your child at the end of the day. Not only will it help you keep in touch with their learning experiences, but talking together about their day will help develop their language skills and build their self-esteem.

Tapestry is available through iOS and Android apps so you can access it anywhere, anytime. You can set up notifications, download learning journeys as PDFs to save for the future, and there’s unlimited media space available.

If you are a current Stephen Perse Nurseries parent, we will have set you up with a ‘relative’ account that is connected to your child. You should have already received login details from us. Once logged in, you will see your child’s observations on your home screen in a list – selecting any one of these will open up the observation for you to view. You may add comments in the box at the bottom of the observation.
